  • EASY TO PREP: This homemade coffee creamer comes together quickly and can be stored in the fridge to enjoy all week long!

How to Make It

  1. It’s really so simple. Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, whisking together well until thoroughly combined. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Turn off the heat and let the mixture sit for 5 minutes. Optional: Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth if it looks too separated.
  2. Enjoy immediately or add it to a large mason jar and store in the fridge until ready to use.

Recipe FAQs

Can I make this dairy free?

Absolutely! Simply swap out the milk and cream for your favorite dairy-free alternative.

What if I don’t have store-bought pumpkin pie spice?

You can easily create your own by mixing together individual spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.

Why is my creamer separating?

Some separation is normal and nothing to worry about! I recommend shaking the creamer well before each use.

Description

Cozy fall mornings just got better! This homemade pumpkin pie spice creamer is the perfect addition to your morning coffee! It comes together quickly for an easy, make ahead staple that will having you coming back for more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium low heat, whisk together the heavy cream, pumpkin puree, and maple syrup. Add in the cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract, whisking well to combine. Gradually increase the heat and bring the mixture to a boil, whisking occasionally, for 1 minute, then remove from heat and let creamer cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Optional: Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth if it looks separated.
  2. You can enjoy the creamer right away in your coffee (adding more sweetener if you prefer), or add it to a large mason jar to store in the fridge until ready to use. You can also top your coffee with whipped cream and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice, too (I usually do!)
  3. Store leftover creamer in a tightly sealing jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Shake well before each use.
