Description

This sweet and smoky homemade BBQ sauce comes together quickly using staple pantry ingredients. Quick, easy, and incredibly versatile for use in many recipes!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup dark maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons peach jam
  • 3-4 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Spices

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder


Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a small sauce pan. Using a whisk, mix ingredients until thoroughly combined.
  2. Turn heat to HIGH, and bring sauce to a boil. Let it boil for 1 minute before turning heat to LOW and simmering for a couple more minutes.
  3. Turn off the heat, and allow sauce to cool thoroughly before placing in glass jars or containers to store.

Notes

You can keep this sauce stored in a sealed container in your fridge for 2-3 weeks.
