Description

These easy baked peaches are the perfect summer recipe. Juicy, sweet peaches are topped with a buttery brown sugar crumble and baked until caramelized for a fun recipe that’s just as delicious for breakfast as it is for dessert. Simple to make and easy to customize, this recipe is a must-try during peach season!

Ingredients

Scale

3 peaches, sliced in half and pit removed

Crumble Topping

2 tbsp rolled oats

2 tbsp brown sugar

1/4 tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp cold salted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the oats, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir together gently, and then add in the cold butter.
  3. Using your fingers, combine the cold butter into the oat mixture until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside while you prepare the peaches.
  4. Slice each peach in half, and then remove the pit. Place into an 8 x 8 baking dish, cut side up.
  5. Sprinkle the brown sugar oat mixture over the top of each peach.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly carmelized.
  7. Serve immediately with preferred toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Baking Time: Please note that the baking time will vary slightly depending on how ripe the peaches are. I try and find pretty ripe peaches, but if they are not quite as ripe, the bake time will be longer.
  • Storage: Leftovers will store well in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven until warm, and then add preferred toppings.
